This doll is inspired by Moby-Dick, the novel that inspired the name of Starbucks, expressed using traditional Gosho ningyo (imperial doll) crafting techniques. With a soft silhouette and dynamic form reminiscent of the white whale, the design evokes a charming and endearing presence.

The pure white body is created by applying multiple layers of white gofun (a traditional white pigment), resulting in a lustrous beauty that conveys a sense of refined elegance and distinct presence. Additionally, gold mud accents have been applied to the tail and pectoral fins, giving the whale both a sense of purity and luxuriousness.
